Intelligaze IG 30 *new*

Intelligaze is the latest eye-gaze system launched in Australia. It is German engineering and manufacture at its finest.
A camera built into the Alea Intelligaze detects where your eyes are looking, so you can highlight a target on the screen simply by looking at it. To select the item you are looking at, you can either blink or look at the object for a number of seconds or press a separate switch to select it.
This is a USB module that simply attaches to an existing PC monitor. After a simple one-off calibration the system is ready to use. A user with mininal movement can operate the computer using eye-gaze only. Communication can be achieved using a program such as The Grid 2. The Intelligaze has excellent tracking and a very good working range. The fast processor ensures rapid adjustment to head movement. The Intelligaze is available in a white or black casing.
The Grid 2 learn more !
Sessions will be undertaken around the country to familiarise more people to The Grid 2. The first sessions are planned for Perth on July 8 & 9, so please check out the web site to download a registration form if you are able to attend in Perth. Other sessions will be scheduled for Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney initially, so please keep in touch or dro me an email to express your interest and I'll be sure you hear about sessions near you.

The Grid 2 is powerful software for PC or tablets (such as The Bespoke) which can be set up for communicaiton with speech output. Text, whole phrases, symbols, word prediction and many features can be incorporated. The Grid also offers computer access for those who are unable to use the standard keyboard, for example to operate the Intelligaze IG 30.
The most common feedback I hear when showing people how to program and edit in The Grid 2, is "it's really easy; much simpler than I thought it would be."
