The Grid 2 : starting blocks *new*
 There is a new addition to the pre-made GRID SETS called Starting Blocks. Meet the Gruffalo in this beginner set of grids, supplied with a workbook and optional toy kit. This set can be purchased with or without the toys.
The Grid 2 is supplied with a number of free pre-made grid sets. GRIDtalk is particularly worth checking out. It includes many of the more advanced language and speed enhancement features.
The existing extra GRID SETS are worth a re-visit as they are now available at a lower price. WordPower, Ingfield Dynamic Vocabularies, CALLtalk and others make a time-saving starting point for customising or may be suitable 'out-of-the-box'!
The Grid 2 : USB license key *new*
The Grid 2 is now available with a USB license key as an alternative to the PC based license system. Both are available. The USB key will be useful where The Grid is installed on many computers but only one needs to be in use at any time. The key is portable so can be plugged into the USB port of any computer to run a licensed version of The Grid 2 for that session.
Tellus Mobi *new*
 The Tellus Mobi is our newest speech generating device from Jabbla. The Allora and Tellus Smart from Jabbla have proved very popular already.
The Tellus Mobi is a tablet PC, designed specifically as a speech generating device. It has loud and clear speech output, a bright display and well designed portability features. It has an in-built Daessy quick release mount plate, of negligible weight. The carry bag is very functional and supports the device in a horizontal position for use 'on the go'. Also built in are switch jacks and a GEWA environmental control module. Running Mind Express or The Grid 2 it offers an excellent option in this category, in light blue, lime green or hot pink!
Allora *review*
 The Allora from Jabbla has become very popular since its launch into Australia in January 2008. The Australian Realspeak voice, the word prediction and large clearly labeled keys are the main features we are hearing about. It is simple to operate and environmental control is an option. The keyguard and carry bag are very functional. A Daessy mount plate is available. ABCD keyboard layout is available and a simple scanning array is activated when a switch is plugged in.

AdVOCAte - This device has been discontinued by Toby Churchill Ltd. They have large quantities of excess stock however which will be available through alternative suppliers. ZYTEQ will no longer be offering the adVOCAte, although we now have a few ex-loan units for sale. You will still find the AdVOCAte available through other Australian suppliers. Toby Churchill Ltd will continue to provide support.
LightWRITER SL40 - the new LightWRITER is not yet ready for Australia. There are some delays with certifications for the mobile phone module however it shouldn't be too far away.
Pricing - All pricing has been reviewed and updated on the web site. Some prices have increased and others have decreased, so please check pricing before using out-of-date quotes or placing orders based on old pricing information.
Loan Equipment - is available for short-term trial. Devices can be requested for evaluation with clients in therapy sessions, and individuals can try the devices in their school, work, home or other environments. Please contact us to have your name added to waiting lists to borrow equipment. The only cost is to return the equipment by one of the nominated methods, usually registered post or express post.
AGOSCI - ZYTEQ will be exhibiting at the AGOSCI conference in Canberra in May, so please visit the stand to see the new equipment. Registration for the conference is now open and the early-bird rates close soon. I hope to see you there!
